Practical Work

Stop still Animation
wood & wire

This Animation follows a lonely wireman who goes on a walk and comes across a wooden statue. He touches its hand to see if it will respond, after no response he turns around to continue his walk. As he walks away the statue comes to life and taps him on the shoulder. After ending it there I found a mini drawing mannequin so I decided to incorporated that in some how and add it on the end as a bonus clip.

A Glitch in Nine saves time
The Landscape
 Animation

This is some concept work for a possible idea for an animation short

Background
-Mountain-
This part will not be animated as its supposed to be far in the distance so this image of the mountains will be constantly still throughout the animation.
middle ground
-clouds-
The clouds will gradually be moving left throughout the short animation, It'll only last for a few seconds so it'll probably need to be double the amount of frames of the foreground to accurately show the motion of the moving clouds.
foreground
-character in a window-
The window will open mid air revealing a stick man looking over the scenery.

Proportion and Distortion

Original Image

I took an image of Clark Gable after reviews a number of movie quotes that I felt would be most affective when adding an animation element to it by making the image talk. One of my favourite lines from the film is his last where he turns to Scarlett O'Hara as she begging him to stay and says "quite frankly my dear I don't give a damn".

Digital Drawing

After finishing the grid to scale drawing I made a digital drawing as I knew I could create a more accurate picture using this format. I traced over the picture and then removed
